I recently welcomed the New Year at Guesthouse Villa Altea, nestled in the serene hills of Costa Blanca, just a stone's throw from the coastline. The swimming pool area was a perfect oasis, surrounded by lush gardens offering breathtaking views of both the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea—ideal for reflective moments after a day of hiking. Our mornings began with a delightful breakfast, complemented by the warmth of our host, who made us feel right at home. Each studio had vibrant décor and thoughtful amenities, making it a cozy retreat. The communal lounge was a great space to unwind with my travel companions, sharing stories while planning our adventures around the nearby villages. Villa Altea is a haven for anyone looking to combine relaxation with genuine local experiences.
